19th July 12. Experiences by Night: Premiere of Moiré Patterns, a commissioned site-specific 16-channel composition designed for a unique 2000 meter square sound space at the "Platz in der Weltausstellung" in the city center of Hannover. The piece was realized with York (UK) based musician and audio software developer Oliver Larkin.

The open air concert starts at 10.00 pm (Karmaschstr. 28) and features also new works by Holger Kirleis, Ostap Manulyak, Clemens von Reusner and Masayoshi Matsui. Artist talk at Cafe f, 21.00 pm, moderated by Stefan Fricke (editor Hessischer Rundfunk, hr-kultur for new music).

Der Platz der Weltausstellung mit seiner einzigartigen Klanganlage aus sechzehn Lautsprechern, die in seinen Lichtsäulen eingebaut sind, wird zum Schauplatz für ein nächtliches Konzert-Erlebnis. In dem internationalen Wettbewerb “My Daily Experiences” wurden im vergangenen Jahr 47 neu geschaffene Musikstücke aus elf Ländern der ganzen Welt, von Australien bis Mexiko, eingesendet. Fünf ausgewählte Werke gelangen bei “Experiences by Night” einmalig zu Gehör. Es entsteht eine phantastische und nicht dagewesene Verfremdung des Platzes.

02th June 12. Exhibiting at the Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften, Berliner Medizinhistorisches Museum der Charité. A three-channel version of the composition Moiré Patterns will be played alongside a sculptural installation and image projections by Photographer Pablo Rojas (5.00 pm - 12.00 pm).

09th - 10th September 11. The interactive sound installation Metal Stage, act 1 will be featured at the Berlin Festival 2011 at the Airport Tempelhof, Hangar 5 (artist´s village).

May 11. Winning the price for best movie sounddesign and music at the 21st Filmkunstfest MV for sounddesigning the film Mein Prinz. Mein Koenig (movie competition section). The award was given by the festival jury and Steinberg Media Technologies. Laureates/Preisträger 2011

Statement of the jury/ Begründung der Jury:

"Film ist Bild und Ton. Dass der Ton die Erzählung unterstützt, ist der Normalfall. Dass der Ton die Erzählung zuspitzt und überhöht ist eine besondere Qualität von „Mein Prinz. Mein König.“ Musik und Ton im Film entwickeln eine suggestive Kraft, die den Wechsel zwischen den verschiedenen psychologischen Ebenen dem Zuschauer erfahrbar machen. Wörter, Töne und Geräusche aus einer traumatisierten Kindheit finden ihren Nachhall in der Gegenwart."

Dec 09. For the second edition of the How Do You Are/There Goes The Neighborhood festival, curated by Jared Gradinger and the French arts organization Les Grandes Traversees the sound installation Metal Stage, act 1 will be installed in the heart of Bordeaux. For 48 h the showcase of a former bikini factory located right behind the famous landmark "La Grosse Cloch" will merge with the installation. La Vitrine / Rue Saint James, 33000 Bordeaux, from 18t to 19th December.

Sept 09. Invitation to participate at the Expo Leeds 2009, the UK's largest annual festival of sound art and experimental music, 25th-28th September. The participatory sound installation Metal Stage, act 1 will be set up inside a church at Left Bank, Cardigan Road, LS6 1LJ, Leeds. The Expo attempts to takeover the city’s sonic life and unveiled a program of major new sound art commissions for the city, including works by Christina Kubisch and Hans Peter Kuhn. July 09. Participation at "how do you are beach?" arts, street-art, performance festival curated by Jared Gradinger as part of the annual Carte Blanche (Aquitaine region) in Royan, France. A former cinema building will be converted to host the participatory sound installation Metal Stage, act 1 to engage with the public for 48 h.
